RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — In a time when both patients and doctors are trying to avoid opioid use to treat chronic pain, new research is suggesting chiropractic treatment may be a powerful tool. The Journal of Pain Medicine sited that people who use a chiropractor were 64 percent less likely to use opioids than people who did not see a chiropractor.
